Product Overview
System Sensor Select Series detector bases include standard 4" and 6" models and specialty bases: relay, isolator, sounder, and low-frequency sounder. Standard plug-in bases feature screw terminals for power (+/−) and annunciator connections. The 4" base is compact; the 6" base fits larger junction boxes.
Specialty bases use a separate mounting plate for pre-wiring and faster installation.
Isolator bases (B224BI) maintain SLC operation during short circuits by isolating faults and restoring the loop automatically.
Sounder and low-frequency bases meet UL 268/464 and NFPA 72 requirements. Low-frequency bases (520 Hz ±10%) effectively awaken sleeping occupants, including those with hearing loss.
